When do you answer the phone?
Garden Specialist answers Monday to Friday, 8–12 and 13–17.30, on 076 393 11 45. We don’t answer the phone on Saturdays and Sundays: you can message us on WhatsApp or send your request using the form.
How do I ask you for a quote?
Call us, or send us a few photos of the garden on WhatsApp with a couple of lines about the job. We reply the same day, with a first assessment or to arrange the site visit.
Do you charge for the site visit?
The site visit is free, anywhere in Ticino. Afterwards we send you the quote, with one price for the whole job.
How much does a gardener cost per hour?
At Garden Specialist a gardener usually costs CHF 60 an hour. Where we can, we prefer a fixed-price quote: one price for the whole job, in writing before we start.
How long does it take to build a pool?
It takes just over a month from the first site visit to the first swim. There are 6 stages, and we take care of the municipal permits; building work is booked 3–4 weeks ahead.
What guarantee comes with the pool?
For 2 years the pool is 100% covered if something breaks because of a manufacturing defect or a mistake of ours. We call it ‘Swim… or your money back’.
How long is the wait for a job?
For maintenance we usually come within a few days; building work is booked 3–4 weeks ahead. Autumn or winter is the best time to build, so the garden is ready by spring.
Which areas do you work in?
Garden Specialist works every day in Mendrisio, Chiasso, Lugano and the rest of the Sottoceneri; for building work, also in Bellinzona and Locarno. Our office is in Mendrisio, at Via Vignalunga 14A: we come out to you to look at the job.
